About VetCentral

VetCentral Veterans Representatives' online tools are provided for Disabled Veterans Outreach Program (DVOPs) Specialists and Local Veterans Employment Representatives (LVERs) through individual State Workforce Systems and the national network of One-Stop Career Centers by leading U.S. employers in alliance with the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA).

The VetCentral Veterans' Representatives program is designed to connect Veterans' Representatives with federal contractors who are required by state statute to take affirmative action to employ and advance in employment veterans covered by the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), as amended, and the Jobs for Veterans Act (JVA).

VetCentral connects Veterans' Representatives directly to employers. Application for employment can be made online directly into the employer's applicant tracking system or via email or fax as directed by the employer.

VetCentral always advises employers to enter company contact and salary information in each job order. Many companies do not include company contact information because they do not have the staff to respond to calls from or about each applicant and want only applications and resumes submitted through their applicant tracking systems or via email or fax. Salary information is often not included because employers want salary flexibility depending on the qualifications and experience of the applicant. In some cases salary information is not included because of company policy or competitive reasons. If VetCentral only sent you job orders that contained company contact and salary information, it would drastically limit the number of employment opportunities available to our nation's veterans.
